J & S Gear Co

The guys at J&S are some of the most honest and reliable shops in Southern California. They have helped me out several times and answered all of my concerns. Highly Recommend!

Highly recommend for re gearing. These guys saved my 4Runner after another shop I won’t mention installed 3 different sets of gears that all burned up before even breaking them in. (The other shop was trying to blame me and broke it in themselves the 3rd time with same results). After two months of hell I brought my truck here and had no issues after the re gear, everything has worked perfectly since.. This place has a clean classic car shop vibe. I was a bit reluctant from some of the reviews of people whining about the service interactions but don’t be mistaken. You get in, you pay a good price for quality work simple as that. These guys are pros. Thanks boys.

Awesome shop!!! Had both my pinion seals replaced in my Ram 2500 6.7L. They did it in one day for a great price. I previously called another shop and they quoted me a thousand, J&S did it for less than half. Great old school shop!

Fantastic. I'm a first time customer. Long time tradesman and car enthusiastic. Speaking with them over phone a few times helped me get this project going. I was unable to press-in new races into carrier and new bearings on pinion shaft. I felt comfortable talking with owner about project. He was very helpful and understanding. As a car mechanic and builder, I feel 100% confident with J&S. Thank you again.

You get what you pay for, and this job is worth paying for!!!! These guys know what their doing and are well known throughout So Cal and around. I don't trust anyone more!! So glad they're so close to home and honestly I'd drive to get to them!!
